Cleaning Policy

Our goal at Platte Valley Chiropractic is to keep our patients safe when they come to visit. Our office is unique in that we handle both musculoskeletal conditions and internal conditions. Therefore, we do see active illness cases on a routine basis. Accordingly, our cleaning policy is rigorous to limit the transmission of illness in our office.

-We use a cleaner that is on the EPA’s List of Disinfectants for use against COVID-19 and other infections.

-In each treatment room the table and chair are wiped down after each patient.Our office cleaning policy is rigorous and uses the most up to date information possible.

-All common room hard surfaces are wiped down multiple times a day

-We have a separate room set aside for patients who have any signs or symptoms of illness which then undergoes additional cleaning.

-We have a UV Light Disinfector that kills pathogens like MRSA or SARS-CoV-2 in 3 minutes. This is run in any room that had a patient with any signs or symptoms of illness.

-We have a air scrubber that pulls pathogens or allergens out of the air down to the carpet to be vacuumed up.

-The air scrubber is run on a high sanitization setting once a week.

-Our office is professionally cleaned every week with special attention paid to high touch surfaces.

-If a patient shows signs or symptoms of infections they are taken back from the lobby area as quickly as possible.

-For known cases of illness patients are checked out in the treatment room so they can bypass the front desk.

We are constantly monitoring State and Federal guidelines to make sure that we are keeping our patients as safe as possible. Our goal is to keep our patients safe and our rigorous cleaning policy is one of our tools to accomplish that. Please feel free to call us with questions or concerns.
