What is a Chiropractic Internist

A chiropractic internist is a physician who is uniquely qualified to assess and treat ailments that occur within the human body. Dr. Scott Sole has been trained in the most advanced forms of modern medical diagnosis and natural medicine.  Dr. Sole, as a chiropractic internist, has diagnostic training that far exceeds the current standards of health care practice utilizing many current and specialized diagnostics such as: blood chemistries, orthomolecular evaluation, electrocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, lung function studies, bone density testing, hormonal evaluations, delayed food allergy testing, and much more.

Treatments provided at Platte Valley Chiropractic & Acupuncture may include; nutritional recommendations, dietary modification, supplement recommendations, homeopathic and naturopathic remedies, natural hormone replacement, etc. Most conditions if diagnosed properly can be resolved naturally and chiropractic internists are some of the professionals most qualified to provide this service.

A chiropractic internist training requires doctors to attend and complete over 300 hours of post doctorate training, pass a national certification examination and requires 12 hours of continuing education in advanced coursework each year. The chiropractic internist, DABCI (Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Internist) program is recognized by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and certified by the American board of Chiropractic Internists (ABCI).
